Crush Apple is an apple-flavored soda made by Crush.
History[]
Crush Apple was first released in 1987 in the United States and a non-carbonated version was also released in Canada. Both carbonated and non-carbonated versions were later discontinued, possibly in the 1990s or not long after their release and for unknown reasons. Both drinks were heavily promoted in that it contains 10% apple juices which may sound low but are pretty high for a soda.
In 2005, a new flavor called Crush Sour Apple was released for a limited time. It was the first sour flavor of the brand and it was more of a green apple soda.
Sometime in the 2000s Crush Apple was launched in Peru and but apparently, the drink is not available in every region, which leads to people making petitions. This version is called Manzana, which means apple in Spanish and interestingly, the drink is green in color, although being just said to be apple. It also no longer contains 10% juices, but it may be naturally flavored.
Later, probably in the 2010s, Crush Manzana was released in Mexico and Argentina, and this time being brown in color.
Taste[]
According to a Crush Facebook fan page, the Mexican version of Crush Apple was said to be good and to taste almost like green apple.
The Peruvian version is said to have a unique taste that everyone remembers.
